Separation Anxiety

ok i know she's still a puppy, but can you let me walk out of the house without a 15 minute dance around the coffee table? ok just to give you all a little insight, our puppy has a major case of separation anxiety. i'm not talking a few whimpers, sad eyes and a lick. i'm talking full blown ravaging of her crate, sounds of a crazed madwoman (simultaneous barking, whining, screaching and coughing), and jumping which of course leads to head banging. any advice...oh and with that, no tranquilizers...

she looks very placid, right?

well she's a wolf in sheeps clothing or rather, a dog in dog's clothing, no...a crazed lunatic in chingoo's clothing. yeah, that's more appropriate i'd say. so other than taking her to a dog therapist, if any of you have any words of advice for these two battered dog owners, speak now or forever hold your peace.
