woah is me...

0 hours of sleep, studying my butt off, chingoo having queen bee complex and bbopshee trying to assert dominance on chingoo...well more like her belly since it's the only thing she can reach...this has been my last 3 days.

bdays, new hoovers and madness!!

ok first i want to say that i have the most incredible and ridiculously loving husband on the planet!! this entire bday week was amazing, and for those of you who knew and kept all of his surprises a secret, i want to thank you! i'll get into the details later on today, but i don't have much time and i want to get through this post!

ok...we're nuts! certifiably nuts! but you all love us anyway! here is the latest and greatest addition to the hoover clan. she's cute above all cuteness and i can't stop showering her with love and affection, it's horrible!!! chingoo loves her too! she thinks the new pupp is her child.

how can you not love this face??

who is wonderwoman and what is this about kalel?

ok, i need an answer to this burning question and for all of you who know me, i have been agonizing over this for a long time...for no good reason other than i don't think there is anyone worthy of filling linda carter's boots. don't come back to me with jessica alba or shannon elizabeth...we need fresh meat. someone gorgeous, and barely noticed...Bridget Moynahan for example. someone like her. i mean she was the amazon beauty on sex and the city and did some serious bar stomping in coyote ugly, but i can't think of any contenders that even come close.

and what is the deal with nick cage naming his son kalel. didn't he get passed up on that role? i think it had something to do with his hair, or lack thereof =) *wink*

angel soft baby aint so soft after all

so chingoo starts on this barking tirade at God knows what. she was flipping out, which if she were human and not a dog, would have fit perfectly into a stephen lynch song...screw that, the man does not discriminate. so d is staring at her like "what the hell has you so rattled you nutbag?" and i'm listening thinking "is d grabbing her tail?" the next thing you know, she inches towards the damned package of angel soft toilet paper.

angel soft

she was disturbed by the picture of the baby's face on the package and decided to let him/her know her feelings of discontentment. OH MAW GAWD...who says our family is full of a bunch of ree-rees?

hairy pooper???

oh...no...sorry about that! that would be harry potter! so jecheema has sent out an email inviting interested hp fanatics to the midnight screening (11/18 - which would technically be late thursday night, early friday morning) of hp4. i am excited although i haven't seen all of 2 or 3! i'm going to have to bundle up on jechee's couch with the cannoli shell, peach schnapps and hp dvds to get to where the rest of the world has been for quite some time. curse you school!

my tivo looks like something out of an 80 year old grandmother's boob tube. i have 30 or more episodes of the "young and the restless" and "the bold and the beautiful" saved until God knows when. my baby thinks i'm a 90 year old trapped in a...ehem...XX year old's body...tucker not a word out of you!

baby dogs!

sooOOOOoo...for all of you who know us, you know the notorious gina. she is one of my favorite ladies, and going through some rough times. she has a gorgeous little yorkie who might need a temporary home for the next few weeks, so i've made d and i the sacrificial lambs hehe. we've already traveled down this road once before with the same dog during 911. needless to say, that ended marvelously! sophie was "litter trained" which actually meant, she will shit and piss anywhere that resembles a carpet. next, sophie supposedly "had no biting problems" which actually translated to, cover your face whenever she jumps or she will leave purple bruises and nips marks on the perimeter of your lips, cheeks and anywhere that is plump and luscious for her wee little teeth to grab hold of. last, "sophie hardly ever barked" which actually meant, bitch will have a screaming match with a mosquito if it flaps its wings just a little too hard.

ok, for those of you who frequent the hoover household, you know that chingoo is our one and only, but with this new development, we couldn't be more thrilled! chingoo will have a pseudo sister and you can all come over and see this new little 4 pound spectacle. with our other close-to-being-adopted puppy potentially coming home with us this saturday, we might be a party of five...hmmm, or the other show...what is it that my baby refers to it as...oh that's right, "step by step." the show with way too many children and no reasonable explanation.

yeah, that's us. hooray!

tucker - that wouldn't be three spoiled children, just 1 and 2 nippy sisters. OH and i love love love the furniture!!

pics will be coming soon!

daylight savings, greenway, tollroad, 495...kiss my grits!

so this morning's saga begins...

against d's better judgement i was really really adamant about taking the greenway today. we started our journey at 7:10am, picked up 1/2 of the brandonies and set off into the sunset...oh, and i do mean that figuratively and literally. in fact, with this one hour time change, or crisis should i say, i have faced an enormity of traffic on 267 this entire week at almost every hour in the morning. what is up with that? aint nuttin but a little bit of sun yo! at 7:30am when we finally hit the toll road (THE GREENWAY WAS A REAL SHORTCUT THERE, NOT!!) there were "phantom accidents" (d and brandonism) all over the road. my point? here i sit at 9:23am. it took me exactly 2 hours to get to work today. is that acceptable? no...unacceptable is more the term that i am looking for.

so for all of your wusses...it aint nuttin but a little bit of sun!!!

peace, love, and joy =) kisses!!

Baby Names

so i've decided...

as you all know, my husband is incredibly wary about ever procreating anything with a V*#@$&. be it as it may, i am going to continue on my quest for the perfect female baby name. this morning i had the great opportunity to discuss some interesting and unique names with lala pants and maria, but at the end of the day i am drawn to one that has most definitely caught my attention - cayden. it could be spelled with a "k" but i'm a "c" kind of person. now, it is an arabic name reserved for little boys, but i don't know if i can help myself. next on the list is of course my favorite, jayden. the literal term means "wise," so i'm thinking we can will it to happen. with two nutjobs as parents, this kid is going to need all of the "willing" she can get *wink* while i know they are rhyming names, would you all expect anything different out of us?

and so we're off...
